What are our Terms & Conditions?
By registering for a workshop, session, or event at Powerhouse Expressive Arts Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Participation & Supervision
Powerhouse Expressive Arts Studio provides creative, educational, and expressive arts experiences in a supervised studio environment. For children and teens, parents or guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pickup and for providing accurate emergency contact information.
Health & Individual Needs
Parents or guardians are responsible for informing the studio of any allergies, medical needs, accessibility needs, or other considerations that may be important for the studio to be aware of in supporting their child’s participation.
If a participant is ill or experiencing symptoms that could affect the health of others, we ask that they remain home and reschedule their session.
Art Materials & Personal Belongings
Expressive arts can involve paint, glue, pastels, and other creative materials that may stain clothing. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that can get a little artsy.
Powerhouse Expressive Arts Studio is not responsible for stains or damage to clothing or for lost or damaged personal belongings.
Photography Permission — Optional
Parents or guardians may choose whether to grant permission for photographs of their child, their child’s artwork, or their participation in studio activities to be used in Powerhouse Expressive Arts Studio communications or promotional materials.
Photography permission is optional and is not required for participation.
Cancellations & Schedule Changes
Cancellations or schedule changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full credit toward another eligible session.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed sessions are non-refundable and are not eligible for session credit.
Voluntary Participation & Acknowledgment of Risk
Participation in expressive arts activities is voluntary. Creative activities may include the use of art materials, movement, and other age-appropriate studio activities.
By registering, participants—or a parent or legal guardian when the participant is a minor—acknowledge the nature of these activities and agree to participate accordingly.
Conduct & Respect
Powerhouse Expressive Arts Studio is committed to maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone.
Participants are expected to treat one another, the studio, and studio materials with care and respect. Behavior that creates a safety concern or significantly disrupts the experience of others may require a participant to leave the session. When appropriate, a parent or guardian will be contacted to discuss next steps.
